Stubborn fat under the chin doesn't always respond to diet and exercise. Kybella is an injectable treatment designed specifically to reduce it, without surgery.
Kybella's active ingredient, deoxycholic acid, is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps break down and absorb dietary fat. Injected directly under the chin in a series of small injections, it destroys fat cells in that specific area — once those cells are gone, they don't come back and can't store fat again.
This isn't an overnight fix. Most patients need 2 to 4 treatment sessions spaced about a month apart, with visible improvement building gradually as the body clears the treated fat cells over several weeks after each session.
Kybella works cumulatively — we plan for a treatment series from the start rather than promising results from one session. We'll assess your submental fullness, confirm Kybella is the right tool (versus a filler or a referral elsewhere), and set expectations for the full course of treatment.
